My Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide 2023
Happy November!
It is officially the start of the holiday season so I wanted to put together this gift guide for you to have for your own wish lists & also anyone else in your life. Feel free to share this with your loved ones along with a *wink wink, nudge* if they ask you for your wish list 🙂
Health is the gift that keeps on giving! I wanted to include products from companies I love supporting myself, products I recommend to clients, and provide as many discounts as possible if I have codes or affiliate links available. Any mentioned discounts on my own Holley Fueled Nutrition products are taking place through the month of November 2023!
This is meant for educational purposes only and is not a replacement for individualized advice. Post contains affiliate links.

Run Fast Eat Slow, Run Fast Cook Fast Eat Slow, Rise and Run Cookbooks. These have some of my absolute favorite wholesome recipes to fuel any person!
Runner’s Kitchen Cookbook. Emma Coburn’s cookbook is highly underrated in my opinion.
Lucky Iron Fish: to boost your iron intake
For the runner who wants to try out some new sports nutrition fuel…
Sports drink: Skratch Labs is my absolute favorite electrolyte sports drink of choice. It has fueled the past several PRs & I don’t plan on stopping using it anytime soon! HOLLEY20 saves you 20% off your first purchase. The strawberry lemonade hydration mix & the cookie mix are my favorites!
Electrolyte supplements: I love LMNT and Liquid IV most and use them almost every day to help make hydration easier. Raspberry and watermelon LMNT and Watermelon and Strawberry Liquid IV are our faves. Use code HOLLEYLIV for 15% off Liquid IV purchases.
Gels: Huma gels are my absolute favorite sports nutrition fuel. I use the raspberry, strawberry, and blueberry (they taste like jam) flavored ones in cooler months & the PLUS varieties in races and warmer months to boost my electrolyte intake.
Pre long run: I love using UCAN products pre long run on top of a meal to give me sustained energy. The pineapple edge gel is my favorite. The link above saves you 10%.
Protein powder & post run: my personal favorites are GU Roctane (great because it also includes carbohydrates and no artificial sweeteners for stevia if those aren’t your jam), Momentous & Thorne because they’re also third party tested. We use the whey protein but they also have plant based options.
Collagen: I love incorporating collagen supplementation during training to promote healthy tendons & joints- using it pre workout in OJ, your oatmeal bowl, or smoothie is actually best for these purposes on top of improving hair, skin, and nail health. All of my favorite third party tested brands are linked for 10% off here.
Creatine: if your goal is to get stronger, faster, build muscle mass, and optimize recovery, creatine is a great supplement to incorporate into your fuel plan as long as it is approved by your doctor. All of my favorite third party tested brands are linked for 10% off here.
*purchasing single serve products would make a great stocking stuffer!*
For the wellness check up every runner needs…
Bloodwork: InsideTracker Ultimate Panel. Use code HOLLEYPROSPECIAL or HOLLEY20 to save on all inclusive bloodwork. I personally pay for & test using this panel every 3-6 months & recommend it to many of my clients as well. Book a 1 hour review call with me to go over your results through December 15th (1 hour is $250) by emailing hsamuel@holleyfuelednutrition.com after you’ve scheduled your blood draw.
Mental Health: Therapy is such a helpful tool for SO many athletes. We know that running and exercise are incredibly therapeutic, but if they are your only coping mechanisms for stress this can get runners into problems down the road with exercise compulsion, injuries, among other things. BetterHelp is a tool I use myself for telehealth therapy & so many of my clients do as well. To save 10% off your first month, go here.
Vitamins & Minerals, creatine, protein powder: for all my favorite third party tested supplements from creatine to omega 3s to magnesium to vitamin D to multivitamins, check out my Fullscript dispensary and save 10% off. I’ve chatted through the research on many of these of my Supplement Myth Busting series of the Holley Fueled Nutrition Podcast.
For the runner who has a goal race on the calendar to train for…
Holley Fueled Nutrition Strength Program. Don’t leave time on the table or injury risk up to chance by not making your body strong- I have several levels of strength programs (all levels welcome) specifically designed for runners! You get access to all of them while enrolled.
Holley Fueled Nutrition Marathon & Half Marathon Training Plan Bundles
My favorite running gear…
Coros Apex watch: I have had my COROS for 4 years and I absolutely love it. The battery life is KILLER (I charge mine every 2-3 weeks!) and my husband loves his too.
Everyday trainers: Brooks Glycerin are my go to trainer. I have had dozens of pairs over the years and they never miss!
Carbon Plates: the only carbon plate shoe I have found that I like is the Brooks Hyperion Elites. I have ran my past few PRs in them!
Racing shorts: I have not found a better pair of shorts. These are so affordable, don’t ride up, have plenty of pockets for storage (I can store 6 gels in these shorts!), come in fun colors, and have lasted me years and years.
Leggings: my favorite every day & fair weather leggings with side pockets are from Old Navy. They pass the squat test and also can fit many many gels.
Cold weather gear: all of my favorite cold weather gear from my polar fleece leggings, to my ear warmer, to my running jacket, base layers, and more are linked here. Layers are key and good gear makes all the difference- trust me as a New Hampshire runner with Raynaud’s syndrome who has trained for the Boston Marathon through the winter the past several years.
Headphones: for listening to music, podcasts, and staying aware of your surroundings, Shokz are my favorite. I have used them for 4 years.
For storing my phone: I have used Koala Clip for YEARS. This would make a great stocking stuffer.
Handheld bottle: Nathan soft flask water bottle is my go to for working on hydration & fueling on the run
Running Sunglasses: Goodr (free shipping) is where it’s AT for running/lifestyle sunglasses that are affordable. I love the MachGs.
Compression socks: ProCompression

Maternity leggings: these are my favorite for every day and for exercise- I wear them daily!
Belly band: this one helped so much with pregnancy growing pains & round ligament support wearing it around the house
Belly band for running: I use this one for exercise since it is more like a sports bra for your belly & doesn’t chafe!

Cheers,
Holley
